Suspicious death in İzmir
In the Urla district of İzmir, university student Gökçe Bebeci (25), who had not been heard from, was found dead in the home where she lived alone.
In the Urla district of İzmir, on Zafer Street in the Yeni neighborhood, friends of Gökçe Bebeci, a 4th-year architecture student at the İzmir Institute of Technology (İYTE), reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center at approximately 14:30 that they had not heard from her.
FOUND DEAD IN HER HOME
Upon the report, police went to the house and discovered the young woman's lifeless body.
Finding no signs of forced entry at the door and no evidence of drug use, the police did not find any suspicious circumstances regarding the young woman's death.
Bebeci's body was taken to the morgue of the İzmir Forensic Medicine Institute. The cause of the young woman's death will be revealed by the results of the forensic autopsy report.
The investigation initiated into the incident is ongoing.
