Syrians kidnapped and beat a tradesman in Gaziantep! Sedat Peker's words come to mind
In Gaziantep, a group of Syrians kidnapped and tortured electrician Ercan Öztürk. The attack on Öztürk brought to mind the statement made by Sedat Peker in recent days. Peker had stated that Turkey is entering a process similar to that of Mexico and Colombia.
An incident that would make one say 'The country has turned into Texas' took place in Gaziantep. 40-year-old electrician Ercan Öztürk was threatened three times in two months by Mehmet and Fahri D., with whom he had a dispute. Öztürk, who went to the police to file a complaint about these individuals, was threatened both with weapons and verbally.
Öztürk said, “I am a tradesman who does electrical work on my own. The people I filed a complaint against set a group of Syrians on me. They called me saying there was an electrical fault and kidnapped me. When I got out, the person behind me hit me on the head and started swearing. They started beating me. At the same time, they recorded the torture they inflicted on video.”

THEY PANICKED AND FLED
Explaining that those who kidnapped him under the pretext that a water pump in the field was broken panicked and fled when they saw a vehicle approaching their location, Öztürk said, “I went to the hospital and got a medical report for the assault. The 5 Syrians who kidnapped me later reached out to me. They said, 'We will cross over (to Syria) in a few days. Use the video after we leave.' After they left, I filed a criminal complaint with the relevant authorities.”

THEY ROBBED HIM
Describing the horrific moments he experienced in his complaint petition, Ercan Öztürk said, “They gave the phone to Nevzat, who said, 'This is my final warning to you, withdraw your complaint against me.' Because I was afraid, I said 'okay.' He instructed the child to record a video on the phone and send it to Mehmet and Fahri.” Öztürk stated that the Syrians took his phone, 850 TL in cash, and his toolbox.

SEDAT PEKER'S STATEMENTS COME TO MIND
Speaking to Saygı Öztürk from Sözcü in recent days, Sedat Peker had said that every era has its own texture. Stating that Turkey is entering a process similar to Mexico and Colombia, Peker had said, “In 6-7 years, Afghans and Syrians will wipe a significant portion of Turkish groups out of the market in criminal circles. This is a very great danger.”
