Taxi fares in Ankara have been increased. According to the new tariff, the short-distance fare has risen to 130 TL, while the per-kilometer rate has become 32 TL. Taximeters will begin operating under the new tariff as of Sunday.
It has been announced that taxi fares in Ankara have been increased. Accordingly, the short-distance fare has become 130 TL.
With the new tariff, the short-distance fare has increased from 100 liras to 130 liras, the opening fee from 35 liras to 45 liras, the per-kilometer fee to 32 liras, and the waiting fee to 210 liras per hour. Taximeters will be updated according to the new tariff starting Sunday.
Mehmet Yiğiner, President of the Turkish Drivers and Automobile Federation (TŞOF) and President of the Ankara General Automobile and Drivers Tradesmen Chamber, made the following statement:
“I wish our new taxi tariff to be beneficial to our tradesmen and wish them good business and abundant earnings.”
