Tanju Özcan alleges a plot against Fenerbahçe! 'I am hearing some rumors...'

The Turkish Football Federation decided to hold the Super Cup final, marking the 100th anniversary of the Republic, between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, despite all public backlash.

Hours before the derby, when Saudi authorities did not permit banners and t-shirts featuring Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray decided not to take the field.

Subsequently, a joint statement issued by the TFF and the clubs announced that the match had been postponed.

"IF THERE IS NO ATATÜRK, THERE IS NO TURKEY, AND WE ARE NOT HERE EITHER"

It was alleged that during the meetings with TFF officials, Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç angrily left the room, stating, "If there is no Atatürk, there is no Turkey, we are not here, and there is no match."
