Targets İmamoğlu: Flash statement on IMM candidate from Erdoğan!

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the 'Transformation of the Century' Istanbul Program held at the Lütfi Kırdar International Convention and Exhibition Center in Istanbul.

Here are the highlights from Erdoğan's speech;

6 SOLDIERS MARTYRED IN NORTHERN IRAQ

''At the very beginning of my words, I wish God's mercy upon our heroic soldiers who were martyred in the attacks carried out by separatist traitors in northern Iraq yesterday.

''THE BLOOD OF OUR MEHMETÇİKS HAS NOT BEEN LEFT UNAVENGED''

The blood of our Mehmetçiks has not been left unavenged; the separatists have been and are being held accountable for this blood many times over. So far, 12 terrorists have been neutralized in the Claw Operation region and northern Syria.

''WE ARE STARTING OUR 'TRANSFORMATION OF THE CENTURY' PROJECT IN ISTANBUL''

We are starting our 'Transformation of the Century' project in Istanbul. We will transform 350 thousand residences. Our citizens will build their homes with 1.5 million TL in support. We need to put the issue of earthquakes at the very top of our priorities. In the 'Half is on Us' campaign, 1 million 233 thousand applications for independent units have been made to date.

''NONE OF US HAS THE LUXURY OF TAKING THE EARTHQUAKE LIGHTLY''

Preparing for an earthquake is a necessity rather than a choice. None of us has the luxury of taking the earthquake lightly. There are 36 million independent units consisting of 31 million residences across Turkey. 6 million of these are currently at risk. 2 million need to be transformed urgently. We passed the urban transformation law in 2012 and completed the transformation of 2 million 200 thousand units.

''OUR GOAL IS TO TRANSFORM A TOTAL OF 1.5 MILLION RISKY INDEPENDENT UNITS''

We will continue to renew Turkey's housing stock with TOKİ as the locomotive. 600 thousand independent units in Istanbul must be transformed rapidly. Our goal is to transform a total of 1.5 million risky independent units within 5 years, with 600 thousand being urgent. We will accelerate transformation efforts by building 400 thousand residences in designated reserve areas in Istanbul. We have used a total of 128 billion liras in resources for urban transformation works carried out across Istanbul. We are laying the foundations for a total of 3 thousand 37 residences, including 371 in Bağcılar, 1096 in Gaziosmanpaşa, and 1570 at 3 different points in Tuzla. The claims brought up by the opposition regarding the (Urban Transformation Law) are completely fallacious and consist entirely of slander.

TARGETED İMAMOĞLU

We have all experienced in a very painful way in the municipalities that changed hands in 2019 how administrators whose minds and hearts are constantly elsewhere, and who only visit the municipality when they find the opportunity, have set their cities back in a very short time.

IMM CANDIDATE STATEMENT

"There are 3.5 months left. Are we saying 'Istanbul again'? Hopefully, on March 31, we will close Istanbul's 'Interregnum Period'. We will ensure it meets the services it deserves again.
