Taxi driver murdered in Sancaktepe
A taxi driver was found shot to death inside his vehicle in the Sancaktepe district of Istanbul.
Colleagues of N.T., who worked as a taxi driver in Istanbul's Fatih district, were unable to reach him and went to his vehicle after locating it in Sancaktepe's Paşaköy neighborhood via the GPS system.
Finding N.T. motionless in the driver's seat with gunshot wounds, his friends notified the gendarmerie and medical teams.
Upon examination by medical personnel, it was determined that N.T. had lost his life.
The body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue following an investigation by gendarmerie teams.
The investigation launched by the gendarmerie into the incident is ongoing.
