Temperatures are rising, rainfall is ending!
Rainfall is ending across the country, and temperatures are rising. Meteorological Expert Abdullah Macit announced that no precipitation is expected in Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir in the coming days.
Abdullah Macit, a Weather Forecasting Expert at the General Directorate of Meteorology of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, provided information regarding the weather forecast expected in the country starting tomorrow. Macit stated that there is no expectation of precipitation across the country until the weekend, and that slightly cloudy and clear weather will prevail in all regions.

WHEN WILL THE WEATHER WARM UP?
Stating that local showers and thunderstorms will be seen in the west of Marmara and the North Aegean on Sunday, and in Marmara, the Aegean, the Western Mediterranean, and the Western Black Sea on Monday, Macit said, "Air temperatures, which have been below seasonal norms, will begin to rise starting from the western parts. We expect them to increase by 3 to 6 degrees in the inner and western parts starting Friday, and across the country over the weekend."

WILL IT SNOW?
Emphasizing that snowfall is not expected across the country, especially in the eastern parts, Macit stated that there is no expectation of showers in the eastern parts until Monday either.
Stating that spring-like weather will prevail across the country over the weekend, Macit conveyed that showers will only be seen in the western parts next Monday and Tuesday.

WEATHER IN THE 3 MAJOR CITIES
Stating that no precipitation will be seen in Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir for 3 days, Macit said, "We expect temperatures in Istanbul to rise to 23 degrees tomorrow, 26 on Friday, and 28 degrees on Saturday."
Reporting that temperatures in Ankara, which will be 24 degrees tomorrow, will reach 28 degrees over the weekend, Macit added, "In Izmir, where we expect temperatures of 29 degrees on Thursday, they will rise to 32 degrees on Saturday."
