Tension at the courthouse: Suspect's relatives attack Gülistan Doku's family

As the investigation into the disappearance of Munzur University student Gülistan Doku, who has not been heard from since 2020, continues, tension erupted in front of the courthouse during the legal proceedings for the suspects detained in the case. While the suspects were being brought to the courthouse, a verbal argument broke out between a group that included relatives of Savaş Gültürk and the family of Gülistan Doku. The argument quickly escalated into a fight involving kicks and punches.

Security forces took intensive security measures in the area to separate the two groups and prevent the situation from spiraling out of control. With the intervention of police teams, the suspect's side was removed from the vicinity of the courthouse, preventing a larger brawl. This attack was met with strong reaction from the Doku family.

Following the incident, Gülistan Doku's sister Aygül Doku stated to the press, "We have been seeking justice for seven years. The other side threatened us today. This audacity by the suspect's relatives is unacceptable." Aygül Doku emphasized that they would continue their efforts to ensure justice is served and that they expect authorities to take more effective steps regarding both security and the clarification of the incident.
