Tensions escalate: Fatih Portakal calls Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu an 'intriguer'! 'Don't run operations, I don't even take you seriously'

CHP Afyonkarahisar Mayoral Candidate Burcu Köksal's statement, "When I am elected, the doors of the Afyonkarahisar Municipality will be open to all political parties except the DEM Party," continues to cause repercussions. Journalist Fatih Portakal claimed that Köksal is one of the figures close to Kılıçdaroğlu, stating, "I believe this was done under instruction."

Responding to Fatih Portakal's claim, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu had used the following expressions: "Fatih Portakal, your slanders are no different from the slanders, fake and montage videos released by the current government during election time; I once again seek refuge in God from slanderers. The tension between Portakal and Kılıçdaroğlu has escalated. On the Sözcü TV Main News Bulletin, Portakal referred to Kılıçdaroğlu as an 'intriguer'.

"I no longer take Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu seriously. I am a man who does his job correctly," said Portakal, adding, "No one can call me a sycophant, a bootlicker, or a bagman. It is impossible for them to say that. I would challenge anyone who says so. I am being that clear."

Portakal continued his remarks as follows;

"I continue to walk the path I know to be right. I am a person who walks alone. I don't have many people who love me, I'll say that too. But I try to do my job well. I try not to be used operationally. I also know about the phone calls that came to me from various other places after the election."

"I STAND BY MY CLAIM"

I claimed that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu had this statement made, and I still stand by my claim. He tells me to 'reveal your source' and so on. Don't teach me journalism. I am not teaching you politics or statesmanship.
