According to a statement from the Siirt Governor's Office, operations against the PKK/KCK terrorist organization are continuing under the coordination of the Provincial Police Department, Intelligence, and Counter-Terrorism (TEM) branches. A member of the PKK/KCK terrorist organization, identified as B.B., was captured while preparing for an attack in the city, along with 1 AK-47 Kalashnikov rifle and 2 hand grenades.

13 SUSPECTS ARRESTED

The statement noted that during ongoing investigations, significant information was obtained regarding the courier/collaborator activities of organization members. Within this framework, 13 suspects were arrested as a result of simultaneous operations conducted in Siirt, as well as the provinces of Batman, Şırnak, and Mardin, targeting 22 suspects.
It was noted that a large number of digital materials were seized during the searches conducted as part of the operations.
