Terrorists killed taxi driver in TUSAŞ attack
It has been learned that the taxi driver was killed by terrorists during the terrorist attack carried out in front of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) in Ankara. Reporting the details of the incident, Sözcü reporter İlknur Yağumli stated that the attack began after the taxi entered the main gate.
THEY BYPASSED THE SECURITY CHECKPOINT BY TAXI
Yağumli shared the following information regarding the attack:
“It is believed that they passed through the security checkpoint easily because it was a taxi. One of the terrorists who got out of the vehicle neutralized the taxi driver.”
CLAIM THAT ‘ONE OF THE TERRORISTS DETONATED HIMSELF’
Reporting that the two terrorists who got out of the taxi clashed with security forces, Yağumli continued as follows:
“There is information that one of the terrorists detonated himself after the clash. However, we tried to ask Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya about these, and he chose not to respond.”
While the investigation into the incident continues, debates regarding security vulnerabilities persist, specifically concerning how the taxi used in the attack was able to pass through security checks and how the attackers managed to reach inside the facility.
