The countries that visit Turkey the most have been announced

In the first ten months of the year, Turkey hosted a total of 54 million 629 thousand 687 visitors. According to data from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, 47 million 306 thousand 764 of these visitors were foreigners. The number of foreign visitors increased by 7.03 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.

RUSSIA IN FIRST PLACE

In the 10-month period of the year, the Russian Federation ranked first in the list of countries sending the most visitors to Turkey with 6 million 249 thousand 998 people, an increase of 7.05 percent compared to the same period last year; Germany ranked second with 6 million 83 thousand 421 people, an increase of 6.43 percent; and the United Kingdom ranked third with 4 million 209 thousand 967 people, an increase of 16.98 percent. The United Kingdom was followed by Iran and Bulgaria. October Leader Germany: The number of foreign visitors arriving in Turkey in October also increased by 9.25 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 5 million 448 thousand 459.

In the ranking of countries from which Turkey hosted the most visitors in October, Germany ranked first with 925 thousand 928 people, an increase of 7.59 percent compared to the same month of the previous year; the Russian Federation ranked second with 776 thousand 618 people, an increase of 15.53 percent; and the United Kingdom ranked third with 530 thousand 586 people, an increase of 20.19 percent. In the ranking where the United Kingdom was followed by Iran, Bulgaria took 5th place.
