The film "OY’una Geldik," starring master actor İlyas Salman and directed by Kazım Öz—the director of award-winning films such as "Elif Ana," "Bir Kar Tanesinin Ömrü," and "Zer"—with a story written by Mustafa Sarıgül, the elected mayor of Ovacık who was replaced by a government-appointed trustee, is being released in 72 theaters across 24 European cities.

The film will meet cinema lovers in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, France, Denmark, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

The film, directed by Kazım Öz, could not be released in Turkey due to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism banning its commercial screening on its scheduled release date of February 21, 2025.
