With 11 days left until the local elections to be held on March 31, tenders in the Kanal Istanbul region continue.

People's Alliance Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate Murat Kurum, in a speech he made on Cüneyt Özdemir's program, claimed that if President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan were to make a request regarding Kanal Istanbul, he could tell him, “We have other priorities.”

TENDERS AT FULL SPEED

According to the report by Cengiz Karagöz from Cumhuriyet; while Kurum's statements are being debated, another tender for a project in Arnavutköy Dursunköy has been published.

While tenders are being published every other day in the region, a new notification was made to the Public Disclosure Platform for the “Dursunköy 3rd Stage 12th Section Housing, Commerce and Social Facility Construction with Infrastructure and Landscaping Work” in the project area to be built in partnership with Emlak Konut and Turkish Airlines.

According to the result of the tender dated March 18 announced by Emlak Konut, the MİSEK and YAPITAŞ business partnership won the tender. The contract value of the tender is 2 billion 736 million 653 thousand TL.

EXCEEDED 10 BILLION LIRAS

Tenders continue to be published one after another in the same project area.

An infrastructure tender was also published in the region the day before yesterday. The tender issued for infrastructure development roads and art structures in Dursunköy was won by the business partnership of AKM Yapı Taahhüt Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi and Ruba Yapı Anonim Şirketi.

The total value of this tender is 1 billion 675 million TL. In recent days, it was announced that a contract worth 2 billion 554 million 961 thousand TL was signed with Kibritçi İnşaat on March 12, 2024, for the “Arnavutköy Dursunköy 3rd Stage 10th Section Housing and Commerce Construction with Infrastructure and Landscaping Work.” A contract worth 3 billion 709 million 953 thousand TL was also signed with Misek İnşaat on the same day for the “3rd Stage 5th Section.”

The value of the tenders issued in the region in the last week is 10 billion 675 million TL.
