'There is no Kurdish issue, there is Erdoğan's seat issue'

'There is no Kurdish issue, there is Erdoğan's seat issue'

Özel began his speech by commemorating Bülent Ecevit, one of the former prime ministers of the Republic of Turkey and former Chairman of the CHP, on the 18th anniversary of his passing, emphasizing the mark Ecevit left on Turkey and his place in the hearts of the people.

Continuing his speech, Özel drew attention to the difficulties faced by children with diabetes, stating that his calls on this issue last year had not been met. Özel stated, "Last year, I brought the situation of diabetic infants to the agenda at this podium. In many parts of the world, sensors are attached to children, alerts are sent to families, and children's insulin needs can be met instantly. However, this system is still not implemented in Turkey. Our Social Security Institution is not interested in this issue," he said.

"WE ARE WAITING FOR PROMISES TO BE KEPT"

Reminding that the Ministry of Health had announced a year ago that it would solve this problem, Özel said, "At the end of a year, infants still have to have blood drawn from their fingers 10-12 times a day. Mr. Minister, we are waiting for the promises you made to be fulfilled in order to eliminate this grievance experienced by families and children," he said.

POLLS AND THE SITUATION OF THE CHP

We examined the poll of a large, independent firm that does not belong to any party at the meeting. From today on, when we conduct measurement and evaluation under the leadership of women and youth in candidate selection with the unity of 81 provincial chairs, the CHP becomes the leading party with 34 percent.

It was the average poll of a firm that works with a subscription system and has no affiliation with any party; we all examined it one by one. While the CHP was facing great hopelessness with 13 percent at its highest this time last year, today, with the unity of our entire organization and the credit society has given to the change the party has undergone, the rise is beginning.

The party's vote exceeds 30 percent. If the election were held this Sunday, 34 percent is seen. I am engaging in politics knowing what will happen by counting names one by one in 105 rallies. We did not mislead in Amasya, Kastamonu, or Uşak. We did not mislead in Denizli, neither in protecting the existing ones nor in adding new ones. The party has sometimes risen and sometimes fallen. When did it fall? It fell a little in September. When we talked about the party congress.

In other words, when congresses and elections enter the words we speak instead of unemployment, poverty, minimum wage, retirees, and laborers in word clouds, does the nation think they are returning to the old ways? It only fell in September. But it became the 1st party again in October.

"THERE ARE THREE MAJOR ATTACKS"

There are three major attacks on the CHP and Turkey. The first of the attacks is to talk about a new Constitution by using the Speaker of the Parliament as a tool and by making alliance partners speak at one point. Our answer has been clear. We said to both Kurtulmuş and Erdoğan: A Constitution cannot be made and a Constitution cannot be discussed if one does not comply with the existing Constitution. We said that until Vera reunites with her father Tayfun and all Gezi prisoners reunite with their families, and until ECHR decisions are implemented—even the closure of the Constitutional Court is being discussed—without such things being resolved, without having said 'decree-law' and dismissed them, and the person dismissed by decree-law has won in court, without them regaining their rights, and without full constitutional compliance, do not knock on this door. That door was closed there. The agenda is to change the Constitution and at the same time to take control of the agenda.

What is the CHP group talking about? We are talking about a raise in the minimum wage. They were going to give it 4 times, they didn't even give the second one. We are talking about retirees. We are supporting union struggles. They said, 'Watch out, these are high in all polls. Let's take control of the agenda.' They will both take control of the agenda with the Constitution and make a new Constitution according to Tayyip Bey's heart.

Just as that agenda was closed, while the rights to life of women, dogs, and living beings were being violated, this time they started a discussion about talking about World War III and saying that Israel would attack Turkey. They started a discussion so that they would not discuss whether the army is strong or weak, so that they would discuss security and not discuss poverty.

There, something that some leaders said unfairly turned out to be how true it was thanks to our parliamentary experience. 'We will hold a closed session immediately, you will come and explain.' We will learn about the danger of Israel attacking Turkey with information that will not be disclosed for 10 years. We saw that nothing was discussed. The purpose of this was to deceive the citizens, and we fended this off as well.

"LET'S SEE WHO THE PKK'S ACTION BENEFITS"

Meanwhile, an attack was carried out on TUSAŞ. We also saw which service and which purpose the terrorist organization that carried out that attack serves. Let us see what contribution the PKK, which carried out that attack, made to the climate that was tried to be created with the attack it carried out that day. Let us note who this action of the PKK benefits. In terms of knowing the PKK and knowing them.

"THERE IS NO KURDISH ISSUE. RECEP TAYYİP ERDOĞAN HAS A SEAT ISSUE."

Regarding the opening on the agenda, Özel said, "What they said was this: There is no Kurdish issue. There is a fur issue. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has a fur issue, there is no friendship project. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has a seat issue, he does not want to leave his seat."

'OUR HOPE IS PEACE, IT IS BROTHERHOOD'

We said that the work we propose to do must have an order and must be done in the way that conflicts are resolved and terrorism is ended all over the world. But still, we said our hope is peace, it is brotherhood. We said we will fight this struggle until every single Kurd feels as much of an owner of this country as I do. We put forward one, four basic approaches. It will be in this parliament, it will be transparent, it will be sincere, and it will be by consensus. I said it a moment ago. It will never happen without the consent of the families of martyrs and veterans. On one hand, we confirm that we continue this sincere call and this position to everyone who wants Turkey's money not to flow into these things, but to our poor, our unemployed, so that mothers in this country do not shed tears, do not cry, and no more martyrs come, and mothers do not cry.

'THE CALCULATION IS TO GET RECEP TAYYİP ERDOĞAN RE-ELECTED'

And I am addressing the opposition that values my word and does not trust this government, all members of my party, and everyone who votes for my party. There is a big game. Today, it has emerged what that game is. I said it clearly. 'Wouldn't it be bad if we changed the Constitution? Wouldn't it be bad if it came out and benefited from the right to hope and we changed the Constitution? What would happen if Recep Tayyip Erdoğan were elected again?' This is the calculation. They have entered a cycle. They have made a bargain. Maybe they have reached the end of that bargain or they haven't and are stuck somewhere. Right now, we are facing either a coercive blackmail or a perception management. The ill-intentioned people on the other side are both saying, 'Let Abdullah Öcalan come, go to the parliament's podium, and make a speech from here.' And on the other hand, they are appointing trustees to Esenyurt and Mardin, giving the image that we are fighting terrorism. Here, their base stands up and applauds when a rope is thrown at Abdullah Öcalan. And they applaud when they lay out a carpet and invite Abdullah Öcalan. He is talking about the MHP group. Or those who vote for them from the AK Party's circle. In any case, in any case, there is an approach that plays to get support and maintain this support, but underestimates the nation's mind and underestimates its conscience. Meanwhile, we must not fall for this game. Whatever position the Republican People's Party takes, either it ruins its relationship with the Kurds or it turns around and sees them as a supporter of terrorism. By being respectful to Kurds, by defending democracy, by defending equal citizenship, and by talking about ending terrorism all together, it is possible to bring both the Kurds and everyone who defends the indivisible integrity of this country together on a real and democratic standard.
