During the Eid al-Adha holiday, two separate holiday greeting rallies were held by the CHP. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was brought to the CHP chairmanship by a court decision, addressed citizens at the party headquarters, while the CHP's elected Chairman, Özgür Özel, spoke at Güvenpark.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş, who spoke at Güvenpark alongside Özgür Özel, walked to Anıtkabir following the rally. A striking claim has emerged regarding Mansur Yavaş, who has been consistently calling for a party convention during this process.

According to a report by Haberler.com Ankara Representative Şerife Güzel, it is alleged that if Özgür Özel were to form a new party, Yavaş would not join it and has already conveyed this opinion to the Özel administration.

It is claimed that Yavaş, who reportedly has no intention of leaving the CHP to engage in independent politics, will remain in the CHP and will not take sides in internal party debates.

On the other hand, it is suggested that the Özgür Özel administration has decided not to impose any obligations on CHP mayors in the event that a new party is formed.

According to what is being discussed in the lobbies, the basis for this approach is the assessment that, "If we do decide to separate, we will do so due to circumstances, with the intention of returning to our party one day. In the meantime, there is no need for mayors to leave the CHP."

In this context, it is stated that mayors will be able to act according to their own preferences, and those who wish to do so may continue their political activities under the CHP umbrella.
