The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry is introducing a ban on margarine products that contain not even a gram of butter but feature images of butter on their packaging.

Phrases such as 'Butter-flavored, butter taste, butter pleasure' will no longer be permitted on these products.

INSPECTION FOR FAKE 'HONEY'

The Ministry has also launched an initiative to determine whether foreign substances have been added to honey.

LEMON SAUCE BANNED

The sale of lemon sauce is also now prohibited. According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, sauces that give the impression of being lemon juice can no longer be placed on the market.

REPORT TO THE 174 FOOD HOTLINE

While it was stated that confusing packaging will be banned, consumers were urged to report their complaints to the Alo 174 Food Hotline.
