Trade with Israel in full swing: Turhan Çömez shares details of ship carrying steel for weapons production!
İYİ Party's Turhan Çömez stated that Turkey is the 5th largest trading partner of Israel and that they have conducted 2 billion 868 million dollars in trade agreements in 2024.
Although the Ministry of Trade repeatedly denies that trade is being conducted with Israel, the data shared by İYİ Party Group Deputy Chairman Turhan Çömez shows the exact opposite.
Sharing United Nations data, Çömez stated, "Turkey is the 5th country that trades the most with Israel. We have conducted 2 billion 868 million dollars in trade in 2024."
Çömez reported that a ship named Vela, which departed from Mersin Port, is carrying tons of steel to Israel to be used in weapons production.
In a post on his X account, Çömez also included his speech in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) and noted the following:
"We submit parliamentary questions, no answer!
We speak in Parliament, no answer!
Meanwhile, the ship named Vela that departed from Mersin is currently off the coast of Lebanon, heading towards Israel.
And it is carrying tons of steel to be used in weapons production.
