Traffic density in Istanbul reaches 80 percent
On the first workday of the week in Istanbul, traffic density reached 80 percent, partly due to the rain.
The megacity of Istanbul woke up to a rainy day on the first workday of the week. The rain contributed to traffic congestion. Traffic built up on major arteries during the morning hours. The vehicle density in the direction of the 15 July Martyrs Bridge was captured on camera. According to IMM data, traffic density in Istanbul was measured at 80 percent as of 08:40.
