Tragic accident in Diyarbakır: 3 dead, 5 injured, 2 critically
Three people died and 5 others were injured, 2 of them critically, in a head-on collision between a car and a minibus on the Diyarbakır-Eğil road.
The accident occurred around 14:30 on the Diyarbakır-Eğil highway near the Baver Junction.
A minibus with license plate 21 ADV 800, driven by Ş.T., and a car with license plate 33 AFR 728, whose driver's name could not be learned, collided head-on. Upon notification of the accident to the 112 Emergency Call Center, health, fire, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.
Health teams determined during their examination at the scene that 3 of the 5 people inside the car had lost their lives.
The 2 critically injured people from the car and the 3 injured people from the minibus were taken to Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital after initial intervention by the teams.
While the bodies of those who lost their lives in the accident were taken to the morgue, the investigation into the accident continues.
