Tragic accident in Kartal! Vehicle loses control and hits overpass pillar: 1 dead, 1 critically injured

The accident occurred around 04:00 on the D-100 side road in the Esenkent neighborhood of Kartal. According to reports, the car with license plate 34 CKM 433, whose driver's identity has not yet been determined, lost control and crashed into the concrete pillars of the overpass located on the side of the road.

Upon notification, police, medical, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene. Following an examination, medical teams determined that one of the two siblings in the car had lost their life, while the other was critically injured. The critically injured person was transported to the hospital by medical teams. Police officers took security measures at the scene, and car parts were scattered around following the crash. While the vehicle was reduced to a wreck and rendered unusable, police teams have launched an investigation into the incident.
