Travel ban for Russian men
Russia has introduced comprehensive restrictions on citizens who do not comply with military summons. Under the new regulation, those who fail to fulfill their military obligations will face significant obstacles in economic and social spheres.
The Moscow administration has announced severe sanctions against male citizens who do not fulfill their military obligations. According to the new regulation, individuals who do not report to the military commissariat by the date specified in the military summons will face comprehensive restrictions 20 days after the notification.
Those who fail to fulfill their obligations will be unable to become individual entrepreneurs or register for the self-employment tax system.
Real estate and vehicle transactions: The sale, transfer, and registration of real estate will be halted; vehicle registration and usage may also be prohibited.
These individuals will be unable to take out loans or borrow money.
These sanctions, based on Article 7.1 of the "Law on Military Obligation and Military Service," aim to increase compliance with military summons.
The implementation is considered a measure taken to prevent flight abroad, especially during wartime, and to ensure control over those evading the economic system.
