Truck plunges into ravine in Artvin: 2 people lost their lives
In the Yusufeli district of Artvin, a truck carrying construction equipment overturned on a dirt road, resulting in the deaths of the driver, Turan Köklü, and his passenger, Hasan Yıldırım. Gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The bodies were taken to the hospital morgue.
In the Yusufeli district of Artvin, a truck carrying construction equipment plunged into a ravine after the dirt road leading to Hermut Plateau in Dereiçi village collapsed. The driver of the truck with license plate 08 K 0862, Turan Köklü (42), and the passenger in the vehicle, Hasan Yıldırım (35), lost their lives in the accident.
The incident occurred in the morning hours. Upon notification, gendarmerie, AFAD, and 112 Emergency Health teams were dispatched to the region. The teams recovered the bodies of Köklü and Yıldırım from the overturned truck and transported them to the Yusufeli State Hospital morgue.
