Dilan and Engin Polat were arrested on charges of money laundering. Most recently, the prosecutor's office requested the appointment of trustees to the couple's companies.
Journalist Murat Ağırel stated in a post on his X account regarding the case against the Polat family, "There has been another development regarding the Polat case."
Ağırel continued his post as follows:
"The prosecutor's office has requested the appointment of trustees to manage the 21 companies under precautionary measures for the duration of the investigation and prosecution," he stated.
