Tunç Soyer announces: A new era in public transport in İzmir!
İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tunç Soyer announced in a social media post that, as of March, transfer times in public transport will be 120 minutes and free of charge.
İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tunç Soyer, who was not nominated by the CHP for the local elections on March 31, 2024, announced a new decision regarding transportation in the city in a post on his social media account.
Soyer announced that as of March, the transfer time will be 120 minutes and free of charge.
In his statement, Soyer said, “Thanks to the rail system investments we have made and the new buses we have purchased, we have completed the work for 120 minutes of free transfers, not 90. The implementation will begin in March.”
