Turkey detail in the Epstein file: Istanbul claims in flight records and documents

Claims extending to Turkey have surfaced in the scandalous file concerning Jeffrey Epstein, known for the sexual abuse of underage girls. Flight records obtained by the SÖZCÜ News Center indicate that Epstein landed at Istanbul Atatürk Airport nine times between July 15, 2010, and September 30, 2013.

The presence of records concerning Turkey among the thousands of documents and photographs released has brought the allegations in the file back to the agenda.

TURKEY DETAIL IN DOCUMENTS

In documents included in the Epstein file based on the complaint of an unnamed woman, it was alleged that Turkey was among the countries from which underage girls were taken to the Virgin Islands. The documents noted that a significant portion of the children did not speak English and therefore experienced serious difficulties.

It was stated that traces of Turkey were also found in some documents released to the public in January 2024, and that allegations regarding children who went missing, particularly after the 1999 earthquake, were brought back to the agenda in this context.

FLIGHT RECORDS EMERGE

It was reported that the published official records contain details regarding the departure and arrival points of Epstein's private jets. It was noted that Turkey is explicitly listed as a destination for some of the flights in the documents.

“IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS FOR TURKEY'S NAME TO BE MENTIONED”

İYİ Party Group Deputy Chairman Turhan Çömez evaluated the new documents released by the US Department of Justice on SÖZCÜ TV. Çömez stated that similar information was reached last year, but that Turkey's name is mentioned much more clearly in the documents released this year.

Stating that flight records should be available in both the US and Turkey, Çömez said, “If one or more children were put on these planes, their records must be accessed. It is extremely dangerous for Turkey's name to be mentioned in such a file.”

Stating that these documents, which have entered the official records of the American Department of Justice, should also be examined in detail by Turkey, Çömez expressed that the crime is not limited to child abuse. He pointed out that the documents also include Israeli connections and allegations of blackmail against some politicians.

Çömez stated that the relevant state institutions should handle the issue from multiple perspectives and that security units should be on alert.

“GIRLS WERE TAKEN FROM TURKEY” ALLEGATION

Turhan Çömez stated that another document he shared explicitly mentions that young girls were taken from Turkey to the Virgin Islands as part of Epstein's abuse network. It was stated that the difficulties the children faced due to not knowing the language were specifically noted in the documents.
