Two buildings collapsed in Ümraniye, Istanbul, due to a road subsidence that occurred during metro construction work.
Two adjacent buildings that had been evacuated following a road subsidence in the Elmalıkent Neighborhood of Ümraniye have collapsed.
Initially, security measures were taken in the area due to the collapse of the road in front of a 2-story and a 3-story building. However, the two buildings, which had been evacuated after being affected by the road collapse, subsequently fell down. Following the incident, additional teams were dispatched to the area.
