Two vehicles collide: Father and son lose their lives
A father and his son lost their lives and 4 people were injured in a head-on collision between a car and a pickup truck in the Taraklı district of Sakarya.
In the accident that occurred on the Taraklı-Göynük road, a pickup truck and a car collided head-on. The driver of the car, which was reduced to scrap metal, İlker, his father İsmail (63), his mother Zeynep, his sibling İlke Akyol, the driver of the other vehicle, and one other person whose name could not be learned were injured.
COULD NOT BE SAVED DESPITE ALL INTERVENTIONS
Upon notification of the accident, numerous health, gendarmerie, fire department, and police teams were dispatched to the region. The injured, who received their first interventions in the area, were taken to Taraklı State Hospital. Father İsmail and his son İlker Akyol could not be saved despite the interventions performed there.
It was learned that the other injured individuals were transferred to Sakarya Training and Research Hospital, and the police have launched an investigation into the accident.
