Two vehicles collide on the Şanlıurfa-Gaziantep road: 5 people injured
Two cars collided in a traffic accident on the Şanlıurfa-Gaziantep highway, leaving five people injured. Emergency teams were quickly dispatched to the scene, and the injured were taken to the hospital.
A serious traffic accident involving two cars, whose drivers have not yet been identified, occurred at the 20th kilometer of the highway connecting Şanlıurfa and Gaziantep. The impact of the collision caused significant damage to the vehicles, and five people inside the cars became trapped.
Following the accident, health, fire, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area upon notification by bystanders. The fire department teams that reached the scene meticulously extricated the injured who were trapped in the vehicles.
The injured were transported to hospitals in Şanlıurfa by ambulances after receiving initial medical intervention from 112 Emergency Health teams at the scene. While no detailed statement has been made yet regarding the health status of the injured, it was reported that an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
Following the accident, the road was closed to traffic in a controlled manner for a while, while gendarmerie teams took security measures in the area and carried out work to return traffic flow to normal.
