Ümit Özdağ's 'Fethullah Gülen' question to Bahçeli: 'If you have reached the point of calling baby-killer Öcalan a founding leader...'

Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ, while evaluating the current agenda during a program he attended on Sözcü TV, expressed his views regarding the meeting held in İmralı between a delegation consisting of AKP, MHP, and DEM Party representatives—the National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission—and the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, Abdullah Öcalan.

Özdağ used the following expressions in his statement:

"So, there is no state-nation unity in Turkey, and it will only happen when you meet with this Öcalan? Will national unity be achieved by dividing the nation into 3 ethnic groups as Turkish-Kurdish-Arab? You say that those who oppose this process lack the intelligence to understand it. Well, didn't you also oppose it from 1984 to 2024, my brother? Did you lack the intelligence for 40 years? Did you only reach the age of reason this year?

If you have reached the point of calling baby-killer Öcalan a 'founding leader,' what will you call Fethullah Gülen tomorrow? If another terrorist organization also falsely claims to have disbanded itself, will you say 'Let's forgive them too, their foreheads touched the ground in prayer'—I mean, does a state do these things? Bahçeli needs to answer these. What changed, my brother, what changed? What changed so that Öcalan ceased to be a baby-killer and became a founding leader?"
