Urgent notification from Israel to the United Nations: Move Palestinians in Gaza to the south within 24 hours

Following the attacks launched by Hamas against Israel, the Israeli military has placed the Gaza Strip under blockade. The clashes are continuing with intensity on their seventh day.

According to official figures released, the death toll in Israel has exceeded 1,300. In Palestine, the death toll has risen to 1,537.

The Israeli military issued an urgent notification to the UN overnight. It requested that Palestinians in the Gaza Strip be moved to the south within 24 hours.  

A United Nations spokesperson made the announcement. According to this, the Israeli military conveyed that 1 million 100 thousand Palestinians in Gaza must be moved to the south. The United Nations, however, warned that such a move would have devastating consequences. It requested that the Israeli military's demand for the relocation of civilians to the south be rescinded. The Israeli military noted that this demand also applied to UN personnel.

BOMBARDED THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT

It was reported that there were numerous deaths and injuries as a result of the Israeli military bombing the Al-Shati Refugee Camp in the west of the Gaza Strip and the Jabalia regions in the north throughout the night. Israeli warplanes bombed homes in all parts of the city throughout the night.

The sixth day on the Israel-Gaza front also passed with clashes and bombardment. Israel, in particular, has increased its attacks on Gaza. Electricity in the region has also been completely cut off. The only power plant in the Gaza Strip has gone out of service due to a lack of fuel. There is no electricity in the region, which has a population of over 2 million.

ISRAELI ENERGY MINISTER: NO ELECTRICITY, WATER, OR FUEL WILL BE PROVIDED TO GAZA UNTIL ISRAELIS RETURN HOME

Israeli Energy Minister Israel Katz said that no electricity, water, or fuel would be provided to Gaza until the Israelis held hostage in the Gaza Strip return home. In a statement on the X social media platform, Katz responded to the growing calls for humanitarian aid in the blockaded Gaza, which is under intense Israeli bombardment as the Israel-Palestine conflict enters its 7th day.

The Israeli Minister stated, "Humanitarian aid to Gaza? No electrical switch will be turned on, no water tap will be opened, and no fuel truck will enter until the Israeli captives return home."

Katz lashed out at international reactions claiming that Israel is resorting to collective punishment in Gaza without distinguishing between armed individuals and civilians, saying, "Humanitarian for humanitarian. Let no one preach morality to us."

Meanwhile, mutual attacks continue. A rocket fired from Gaza hit a hospital in Ashkelon. The Israeli military also announced that for the first time since 2006, it has targeted Hamas with the M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System.

Among the places hit in the bombardment is the Islamic University of Gaza.

The opening of a humanitarian corridor is also on the agenda. The US is in talks with Israel and Egypt to ensure the safe exit of civilians in Gaza. The United Nations is also warning that "the Gaza Strip will face a catastrophe if it is not opened to humanitarian aid."
