US drone attack attempt in Syria

According to information obtained from local sources, the attack attempt with a kamikaze UAV of unknown origin occurred late at night at the Tanf base, which is used by US forces and located near the Jordanian border in the desert region of Homs.
It was stated that US soldiers stationed at the base shot down the UAV in the desert area of the base.

In recent times, bases where the US military is stationed in Syria—including the Tanf region, the Malikiyah district near the Iraqi border, the Shaddadi district of Al-Hasakah province, and Deir ez-Zor province—have been subjected to attacks by UAVs, armed UAVs, and surface-to-surface weapons of unknown origin.
Iran-backed groups occasionally carry out attacks with rockets and armed UAVs on US bases on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River.
