US Secretary of Defense announces: 'We have carried out the most powerful attack against Iran'

US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stated that following the attacks on Iran launched on February 28, the US's objectives remain the same and that they are making progress in the war.

Hegseth reiterated the US strategy regarding its objectives, saying, "Today, we will carry out the most powerful attack we have ever conducted."

IRAN'S STRATEGIC TARGETS ARE BEING DESTROYED

Hegseth said that the purpose of the US attacks is to destroy Iran's missile launch sites, defense industry base, and navy. He also emphasized that Iran must never possess nuclear weapons. The Secretary of Defense stated that only a portion of the targets in Iran have been struck and that larger attacks will continue in the coming days.

IRAN'S SUBMARINE FLEET DESTROYED

The US Secretary of Defense declared that they have achieved significant success so far, stating, "Every day we are carrying out larger attacks. We are winning." Hegseth noted that 11 of Iran's submarines have been destroyed and that Iran's ballistic missile production capacity has suffered major damage.
