Vehicle catches fire after hitting median in Hatay
In the Belen district of Hatay, the driver of a car that hit a median was injured.
In Hatay, a car hit a median on the İskenderun-Antakya highway after the driver lost steering control.
DRIVER TRAPPED INSIDE VEHICLE RESCUED
Witnesses who saw flames rising from the engine compartment of the car reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Fire crews dispatched to the scene upon the report extinguished the fire, then extracted the driver who was trapped inside the vehicle and handed them over to medical teams.
The injured driver was taken to the hospital by medical teams. The vehicle, which was largely burned, became unusable.
