Verdict for doctors on trial in the Newborn Gang case!
The defendant doctors on trial in the baby-killing Newborn Gang case have been banned from their profession for 3 years.
The 3rd hearing of the case involving 46 defendants, including leaders and members of the baby-killing Newborn Gang, who generated illicit profits by referring babies to hospitals they had agreements with and caused their deaths through negligent behavior, continues for its second day in Istanbul.
Some of the detained and non-detained defendants, as well as the lawyers for the parties, were present at the hearing held at the Bakırköy 22nd High Criminal Court.
3-YEAR BAN FOR DEFENDANT DOCTORS
As the hearing continued with statements from the defendants and their lawyers, an important decision was made regarding the defendant doctors on trial in the case.
The Ministry of Health's Health Professions Board has banned the doctors on trial in the Newborn Gang case from practicing their profession for 3 years.
The penalty, issued at the maximum limit, was served to the doctors.
