Ship traffic in the Bosphorus, which was temporarily suspended in both directions due to a general cargo ship that broke down in the evening, has been reopened.

In a statement made on the social media account of the General Directorate of Coastal Safety, it was stated that the 80-meter-long vessel named "SNP PAZAR" was safely anchored at the Ahırkapı Anchorage Area under the coordination of the Istanbul Vessel Traffic Services Center, towed by the Kurtarma-7 tugboat, and accompanied by a pilot and the Mehmetçik tugboat.

The statement noted that vessel traffic in the Bosphorus has been reopened in the north-south direction.
