110 people wanted for various crimes captured in Istanbul! Among them is a fraudster wanted with a blue notice

Operations were conducted across Istanbul on December 5 and December 7, targeting convicts wanted for various crimes with finalized prison sentences. A total of 256 teams and 550 personnel participated in the operation, which specifically targeted individuals with records for theft, fraud, robbery, murder, and sexual assault.

During the efforts on December 5, 2023, 76 people were taken into custody, including Bülent T., who was wanted for multiple counts of murder and had a 62-year, 10-month prison sentence; Maşallah A., who had a 14-year, 4-month sentence for robbery; İbrahim Y., who had an 8-year prison sentence for assault; Kasım K., who had an 8-year, 4-month prison sentence for murder; Altan A., who had a 7-year, 10-month prison sentence for fraud; Samet Ö., who had a 7-year, 8-month sentence for theft; and Caner Y., who had a 7-year, 2-month prison sentence.

In the efforts on December 7, 2023, 34 people were taken into custody, including Nurbek Y., who was wanted by Interpol with a blue notice for fraud. Additionally, those detained included Umut K., who had a 17-year, 1-month prison sentence for armed robbery; Selami K., who had an 8-year, 4-month prison sentence for child sexual abuse; İdris E., who had a 14-year prison sentence for robbery; and Sevtap G., who was wanted for murder.

The 110 people detained during the operations on both days will be referred to court after their statements are taken at police stations.
