2-year-old child's hand gets stuck in meat grinder
In Hatay, 2-year-old A.K. was severely injured after getting their hand stuck in a meat grinder. Thanks to a successful intervention by fire department crews, the metal parts were cut away to free the child's hand. The young child is in good condition and is continuing treatment at the hospital.
In the Antakya district, the family of 2-year-old A.K., who got their hand stuck in a meat grinder, rushed their child to Hatay Training and Research Hospital. Medical teams notified the fire department and requested assistance. Upon receiving the report, the crews arrived at the hospital and began working on the hospital bed to free the child's hand from the meat grinder.
Following the meticulous and careful work of the crews, the meat grinder was removed. Medical teams intervened to treat A.K., who suffered fractures and crushing injuries to their hand.
It was learned that the child, whose health condition is reported to be good, had put their hand into the meat grinder while their mother was using it.
