The statement is as follows:
"Following the 5.1 magnitude #earthquake that occurred at 08:19 in the Aegean Sea, off the coast of the Menderes district of our İzmir province, there are currently no negative reports.
Field scanning efforts are ongoing, and our teams are on alert.
We extend our best wishes to our affected citizens."

It was announced that no negative reports have been received so far in İzmir and Aydın regarding the 5.1 magnitude earthquake, which had its epicenter off the coast of the Menderes district of İzmir in the Aegean Sea.
İzmir Governor Süleyman Elban, in a statement on his social media account, wished the people of İzmir well and stated, "There are no negative reports submitted to our Governorship regarding the 5.1 magnitude earthquake that occurred as of 08:19, centered in the Aegean Sea - Kuşadası Gulf - Menderes."
Aydın Governor Yakup Canbolat said in his statement, "There are no negative reports reflected so far; field scanning is continuing."
