68 Turkish citizens evacuated from Gaza brought to Istanbul
68 Turkish citizens and their family members, who were first brought to the Rafah Border Crossing between Egypt and Palestine due to Israeli attacks, have been brought to Istanbul on a flight departing from Cairo.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye and AFAD coordinated the arrival of a group of 68 Turkish citizens and their family members who reached Egypt via the Rafah Border Crossing, bringing them to Istanbul on a Turkish Airlines flight.
The citizens were met by representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and AFAD officials, as well as their relatives.
The Turkish Airlines flight, which departed from Cairo during the night, landed in Istanbul at approximately 02:00. After passport control, the arriving citizens were boarded onto vehicles allocated by AFAD personnel to be taken to hotels. Some relatives who came to meet the citizens at the airport embraced them with tears of joy.
