Alleged murder over 100 lira: Caught after 13 years
Teams from the Istanbul Public Security Branch Office's Wanted Persons Bureau detained İmdat G., who killed Orhan Döğen 13 years ago. Following his interrogation, G., who had a 27-year prison sentence, was sent to prison.

Teams from the Istanbul Public Security Branch Office's Wanted Persons Bureau apprehended 18,624 individuals between November 25 and December 25, 2023, including 6,120 convicts with finalized prison sentences and 12,504 people wanted under arrest warrants.
COMMITTED MURDER 13 YEARS AGO
İmdat G., who was wanted and sentenced to 27 years in prison for allegedly killing Orhan Döğen in Bahçelievler on May 29, 2010, was also detained. G. was arrested and sent to prison.
The 2010 murder allegedly occurred as follows:
There was a debt dispute of 100 TL between Ramazan A. and Orhan Döğen. When Orhan asked for the 100 TL he was owed, an argument broke out between him and Ramazan. When İmdat G. intervened to break up the fight, the two individuals allegedly began fighting with İmdat G. instead. It was learned that İmdat G. then killed Orhan Döğen and fled the scene.
