SYRIAN REGIME TRANSFERS POWER

The Syrian Army Command informed its officers that the Assad regime had fallen.

Bashar al-Assad's Prime Minister, Mohammad Ghazi al-Jalali, stated in a video message shared on his social media account that they are "ready to work with a government chosen by the people of Syria and are prepared to provide all kinds of support."

Calling for public property not to be damaged, al-Jalali said, "We extend our hand to the opposition, who say they will not harm anyone and have extended their hand to us."

Al-Jalali added, "Syria belongs to all Syrians. This country can be a normal country; it can establish good relations with its neighbors and the world. This choice is up to the administration that the Syrian people will choose. We are ready to cooperate with the new administration to be elected. We are ready to provide them with all kinds of support and to easily transfer state files to them."

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) leader Ahmed al-Shara (Abu Mohammad al-Julani) warned in a statement on social media not to approach public institutions in Damascus, stating, "These institutions will remain under the supervision of the former Prime Minister until they are officially handed over."

Al-Shara said, "It is strictly forbidden to approach public institutions. These institutions will remain under the supervision of the former Prime Minister until they are officially handed over. Firing into the air is also prohibited."
