Bodies of mother and daughter found wrapped in sheets
In the Bodrum district of Muğla, two bodies—one of a child and one of a woman, believed to be a Russian mother and her daughter—were found in rugged terrain.
This evening, two bodies were discovered in rugged terrain along the Tavşanburnu road in the İçmeler area.
Following a report that the bodies of two people, one a young girl and the other a woman, had been found, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
Police teams conducted an investigation at the scene and in the surrounding area.
ONE OF THE BODIES WAS HIDDEN BEHIND A ROCK
It was determined that one of the bodies, which were wrapped in sheets and tied with rope, had been hidden behind a rock, while the other was found on the terrain.
With the support of the Muğla 911 Search and Rescue teams, the bodies were removed from the location and placed into a Bodrum Municipality funeral services vehicle.
The two bodies, believed to belong to a Russian mother and her child, were sent for autopsy.
The investigation launched into the incident is ongoing.
