Confession from Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı: 'I was the one who made Erdoğan call Fethullah Gülen to return'
Television commentator Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı, known for his proximity to the government, stated on a YouTube channel he appeared on, "I was the one who made Tayyip Erdoğan issue the 'Come back' call to Fethullah Gülen."
Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı was a guest on the 'Ay’daki Adam' (Man on the Moon) program, which is broadcast on İlker Canikligil’s YouTube channel Flu TV.
Kütahyalı, who played an active role in the conspiracy cases and wrote for the newspaper Taraf, said the following:
"Between 2008 and 2011, we dismantled military tutelage and the generals. I am one of the main actors in this process. Here, those who went to prison for it... Let them comment. Shall I say something? Isn't it the Ergenekon issue? The nationalist, statist mindset that says, 'The state can kill people if necessary'... I think the 'Ergenekon terrorist organization' is a fabrication. But there were gangs in clusters. Well, the Ergenekonists are already in power today."
"I MADE ERDOĞAN ISSUE THE 'COME BACK' CALL"
Speaking on the same program, Kütahyalı discussed the period of the cold war that began between him and FETÖ, and made a statement regarding the words of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Gülen in 2012: "Let this longing end, come back."
Kütahyalı said, "I was the one who made Tayyip Erdoğan issue the 'Come back' call to Fethullah Gülen."
