The investigation into 26-year-old suspect Abdullah Ö., who was captured following the terror that unfolded one after another in Esenyurt yesterday, has been completed.

The suspect, Abdullah Ö., who stabbed and injured 10 people, including a woman, in 9 hours yesterday, was referred to the courthouse following processing at the police station.

WHEN THE FORMER LANDLORD DIDN'T OPEN THE DOOR...

The suspect's processing was carried out at the Murder Bureau of the Public Security Branch Directorate. In his statement to the police, Abdullah Ö., who explained that he had been living on the streets for a year, said he went to his old neighborhood to find out the whereabouts of his father and mother, with whom he had not spoken for a long time and whose location he did not know. Explaining that he rang the doorbell of the former landlady, the suspect said, "When she didn't open the door, I got angry at her." He recounted that after this incident, he threw stones at the apartment building and then stabbed whoever came in his path.

HE RENDERED THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE UNUSABLE

During the investigation at the police station, it was learned that the suspect had fled after rendering a doctor's office at Çam and Sakura City Hospital unusable on Saturday, January 20.

It emerged that the suspect, Abdullah Ö., who was also detained two days ago regarding the doctor's incident, was released with a judicial control decision on charges of "damaging property."

HE SAID "I REGRET IT"

It was revealed that the suspect, Abdullah Ö., who said he regretted the events—which also included a phone robbery during the knife attacks—had 14 separate criminal records for various offenses.

Following the procedures, the suspect was sent to the courthouse.
