Dilan Polat in the spotlight again... Luxury enjoyment under an umbrella

Dilan Polat, at the center of money laundering allegations, has once again made headlines with her luxurious lifestyle. Polat was recently filmed sipping her coffee and smoking a cigarette on a restaurant terrace while having her bodyguard hold an umbrella over her in the rain.

According to a report by CNN Türk, this display of comfort by Polat caused a major stir on social media. Polat, who has drawn criticism for her luxurious lifestyle and extravagant spending, has once again ignited debates about "slavery."

"SLAVERY" COMPARISON MADE

In the footage, Polat's comfort while her bodyguard held an umbrella in the rain was compared by many to scenes of slavery during the Western colonial era. The images brought to mind the period when colonial masters had African slaves carry umbrellas for them.

HAD DRAWN CRITICISM IN THE PAST AS WELL

Dilan Polat and her husband Engin Polat had been arrested over money laundering allegations but were released without serving even a year in prison. In recent weeks, Polat had claimed that her credit card limit was insufficient for grocery shopping.
