Drug operation with drone in Sultanbeyli: 7 suspects apprehended

Police teams monitoring a wooded area in Sultanbeyli's Fatih neighborhood with a drone encountered a suspicious situation on September 22. While tracking 4 people sitting under trees, the teams noticed a suspect wearing a white jumpsuit approaching the group. The situation was deemed suspicious. Teams were dispatched to the area. Police teams apprehended 7 suspects in the operation. During the searches, 20 grams of bonzai, 2 grams of methamphetamine, and 2 thousand 770 liras in cash were seized.

DRUG DEALER WORE A JUMPSUIT DUE TO SCABIES

Those moments were also recorded by the police drone. The footage, which includes the suspect in the jumpsuit walking quickly to join the other suspects, also shows the moment of the police raid. It was learned that the suspect in the jumpsuit seen in the footage is drug dealer Semih K. It was alleged that the suspect, who has 13 criminal records including seven for drugs, had contracted scabies and wore the jumpsuit to prevent it from spreading to others.

JUMPSUIT-WEARING SUSPECT AND HIS COUSIN ARRESTED

The detained suspects were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station. While 5 of the suspects were released, Semih K. and his cousin Orhan K. were arrested.
