In the Bozkır district of Konya, tiles fell on a student at the (KYK) Credit and Dormitories Institution. The student, who had an accident at the Mustafa Suna Öz Dormitory, was taken to the hospital.

"BAD LUCK"

According to the report in Sol Haber, following the incident, which reportedly occurred around 22:00, students staying at the dormitory went out into the garden to stage a protest. It was noted that the dormitory manager, who spoke with the protesting students after the incident, became the focus of reactions by calling the event "bad luck".

Reacting to this attitude of the administrators, the students expressed the following regarding the situation:

"If the sharp part of the tile had hit her, she could have been paralyzed. Once again, negligence has occurred and the incident is being covered up; we want to make our voices heard." The Selçuk University Communist Youth of Turkey stated the following in a post on their social media account: "At the Konya Bozkır Mustafa Suna Öz Girls' KYK Dormitory, tiles fell on our friend's head while she was taking a shower. They are trying to cover up the condition of our friend, who fainted from blood loss. Enough is enough! We will not get used to this absurd situation, we will hold those responsible accountable!"
