Footage of Minister Yerlikaya's conversation with the man who took a truck driver hostage has emerged

Fatih B., who took the driver hostage inside a truck on the Northern Marmara Motorway in the Körfez district of Kocaeli, was pursued by police and gendarmerie forces.

Security forces, who blocked the road in the Sevindikli area of Körfez, stopped traffic and prepared to intervene to neutralize the individual.

While the suspect resisted the persuasion efforts of security teams, he requested to speak with Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya. Minister Yerlikaya persuaded the individual to surrender as a result of the phone call he made.
