Harsh criticism from Fatih Altaylı to Kılıçdaroğlu: 'Because he became Chairman after a tape scandal'

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and Manisa Şehzadeler Mayor Gülşah Durbay have taken action regarding the allegations made against them.

According to journalist İsmail Saymaz, Özel described these rumors as a "smear campaign" and filed a criminal complaint. Özel alleged that the claims were spread by individuals close to former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.

In a phone call with Kılıçdaroğlu, Özgür Özel said, "Sir, three people from your circle took part in this smear campaign. I will take them to court. These are friends we see by your side and who work with you. I wanted to inform you of this." Kılıçdaroğlu, stating that he would warn the individuals in question, replied to Özel, "Of course, filing a lawsuit is your most natural right."

 İsmail Saymaz also reported that Özel will file lawsuits against Ebru Küçükaydın, Tolgahan Erdoğan, and Gökhan Özbek, whom he claims made defamatory posts about him.

Journalist Fatih Altaylı stated that the individuals within the CHP carrying out this operation are people who want to topple Özgür Özel and replace him with Kılıçdaroğlu.
